Akwa United Football Club, Uyo Stadium
Akwa United Football Club Stadium is International Stadium which is now known as Godswill Apabio Stadium as renamed by Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel after his inauguration ceremony which took place on may 29, 2015 in the stadium.
The stadium is located in Uyo the state capital of Akwa Ibom State and has a full capacity of about 30,000 seaters and consist of six-lane tracks for an athlete to train.
The stadium has hosted the AFCON qualifying series against South Africa on November 2017, on November 2015 the Club finally moved into the stadium when their ground was been brought up to code.
